AZC Garden

Are you interested in volunteering at our local Centre for Asylum Seekers (AZC) and like being outside? Then we have the perfect project for you!

Last spring, the Green Office helped the AZC to set up a community garden to give their residents the chance to grow their own flowers and vegetables. Throughout the semester volunteers from UCR had the opportunity to tend to the garden together with residents (at a COVID-safe distance of course). Now the project continues, and we are looking for students to take part.

Gardening sessions (c. 90 mins) will be organized on Saturdays. Sign up to join the gardening squad!
