Beach Cleanup - September 2021

Yearly in September, the World Cleanup day takes place. This year we organised a beach cleanup in Vlissingen. Together with HZ Green Office and our beloved volunteers we managed to pick up a lot of trash from the shores of Zeeland. It is quite appalling how much trash there can be found on the beaches all over the world. Although we do not like picking up trash from the beach, we had a great time being in each others presence. After our hard labour, we had a nice zero waste picnic where we enjoyed great food without creating any waste in the process. We discussed future plans, recorder a segment for the UCRRadio and in general had a great time.
